Capcom has revealed how long it will take players to see through their new version of Resident Evil 4 when it launches early next year. Compared to some of the original installments, Resident Evil 4 It has always been one of the longest running games in the franchise. And though it seemed likely that the next RE4 remake wouldn’t shorten the title, some fans wondered if Capcom would lengthen the game by a substantial margin. Turns out this shouldn’t be the case.
In a new conversation with pc gamerYoshiaki Hirabayashi, producer behind the new version of Resident Evil 4, said that the game will be “approximately the same” length as the original title. Hirabayashi explained that this decision to keep the game in the same playtime as the original is based on feedback fans gave Capcom after their remakes of resident evil 2 Y Resident Evil 3. And although there will obviously be some changes in the new version of RE4Clearly, these alterations won’t make the game much longer or shorter.
According to aggregated data from how long to beatthe original Resident Evil 4 most players took around 15 hours total to complete. While this time could vary based on a number of factors, it seems likely that the new version of RE4 it will be somewhere in this very neighborhood based on Hirabayashi’s comments. While the new version of the game will come with some story and gameplay updates, it sounds like Capcom isn’t trying to stray too far from what made the original title so beloved.
