Apex Legends’ Death Dynasty Collection Event will be introduced alongside the Season 18 patch and it’s bringing a set of exciting features.

Whether it’s the Revenant Reborn Heirloom recolour, double XP in Battle Royale & Mixtape, or the huge amount of fresh cosmetics, it’s got the community on the edge of their seats.

The Apex Legends Death Dynasty Collection Event will start on August 8, 2023, alongside the launch of the Season 18 patch. The event will end on August 22.

The trailer showcases all of the skins and cosmetics that are going to be available to collect during the Death Dynasty Collection Event.

Apex Legends Revenant Heirloom recolour: Death Grip

The main feature of the Death Dynasty Collection Event is Revenant Reborn’s new “Death Grip” Heirloom recolour that transforms his Scythe into an even more terrifying weapon.

This is the perfect item for a player hoping to main Revenant Reborn and inflict death upon their opponents at every opportunity.

In order to obtain this Heirloom, you’ll need to collect all 24 limited-time themed cosmetics in the Death Dynasty Collection Event by opening packs. Otherwise, it can be acquired by using 150 Heirloom Shards which are an extremely rare drop in standard packs or guaranteed after opening 500 total.

Apex Legends Death Dynasty Collection Event: Double XP

The Death Dynasty Collection Event is also offering the community a chance to earn double XP, which is especially helpful at the start of a new season.

Here are the double XP dates and the modes that apply:

• Double XP in Battle Royale: August 8 – 15
• Double XP in Mixtape: August 15 – 22

Make sure to jump into the action at the start of Season 18 and Death Dynasty to make the most of the XP boost, these don’t come around very often in the Outlands.

As always, Apex Legends’ Death Dynasty Collection Event will bring a reward track for players to complete.

This will give you a chance to earn unique cosmetics for free, so there’s no need to worry about spending any money to unlock them.

To obtain the rewards, simply complete daily and weekly challenges for the two-week duration of the event.
