The idea of a cloud device from PlayStation would be alluring for anyone, especially as Xbox seems to have seriously cornered the market – but when Sony revealed its new attempt to corner Cloud will be dependant on a PS5 and won’t let you stray from your main console to play games, players were immediately sceptical.

The idea could work – but its limited scope could lead to a disaster on PlayStation’s part – unless, of course, its pricing is incredibly competitive.

And now, it looks like success could be on the horizon with the company’s foray into the Cloud.
