We’re just one week away from the highly anticipated Pokemon Go Fest 2024: New York City, which brings the beloved event in person to the Big Apple. If you’re in NYC between July 5th and 7th, you can’t miss the festivities at Randall’s Island Park. Apart from this, a full Aquatic Paradise event is also being organized for the fans at the same time.
The Aquatic Paradise event in Pokemon Go will take place from July 6 to 9. The goal is to bring some of the water Pokemon from the NYC event to the rest of the world. So, you can expect to see a bunch of themed Pokemon running around in the wild, including Horsea, Staryu, Wingull, Ducklett, and more.
If you use incense, you’ll attract some special Pokemon like Shielder, Lapras, Finyon, and Freelash. Some of you lucky trainers may even come across the shiny variety. Also, 2x XP is being awarded for catching Pokémon, so make sure you throw Poké Balls at any move.
In addition, there are some field research tasks that will compete with Corefish, Clamperl, Finyon, and Freisch. All trainers will also work together on the Collection Challenge, which will offer a variety of other rewards including additional goodies and encounters.
