Phasmophobia’s old leveling system is seeing changes that will erase progression for all of its players. These changes will still give active or returning players something special to show off with everyone at the same base level. This can be a bit confusing at first for new players, but it’s actually much simpler than it seems at first glance. This is all you need to know about how Progression works in Phasmophobia.
How does level reset work in Phasmophobia?
Players returning to Phasmophobia will have a prestige 1 level once all player levels reset so they don’t have to go through the hassle of unlocking equipment and maps. However, new players to the game will still need to unlock things early on.

In addition to this, players will get their levels on a badge on their arm. Everyone’s badge will be fully customizable and each piece will unlock after reaching certain levels. These will be able to be exchanged to your heart’s content.
