New Icons & chemistry explained

If you’re looking for all the new FC 24 Icons, as well as how their chemistry works, then you’re in the right place. FC 24 is the latest football game from EA Sports and the first since they have rebranded the game from FIFA.

Icons were first introduced in FIFA in 2016, however, they were called Legends then, and since then we have had a few roster changes every year as more players retire. The Icons are some of the best players to have ever played the game with the likes of Pele, Moore, Henry and more available to pop in your team.

This year, with the introduction of women’s teams to Ultimate Team, we are going to get a few fresh Icons too to spice up the game. So here are all the confirmed Icons we have seen so far, as well as how chemistry will work in FC 24.

    • Johan Cruyff (Netherlands)
    • Zinedine Zidane (France)
    • Mia Hamm (USA)

So far, the only Icons who have been confirmed for FC 24 are the ones who appear on the Ultimate Edition of the cover, with all of them returning from last year’s edition of the game. Although, there is one newcomer on the cover with the inclusion of Mia Hamm, one of the most prolific female players of all time.

Hopefully, we will get some more updates soon on who will be returning to the game, as well as if there are any more fresh faces.

The chemistry for Icons is being overhauled slightly this time around, after not being as effective in last year’s game because of the new system.

Now, Icons will give 1 boost to every single player, and then an extra boost if they share the same nationality. If you would like to know even more about how chemistry will work in FC 24, we have you covered here.
