The Nvidia Ampere-Prozess has been re-compiled by a new version of the GeForce RTX 3050. The updated model received the GA107 processor familiar with GeForce RTX 3050 Ti mobile video adapters. MSI is already ready to offer such a 3D accelerator.
The MSI GeForce RTX 3050 Ventus 2X graphics card, based on the GA107 core, inherited the GPU configuration from the original version: 2560 UDA cores, 80 Tensor and 20 RT cores. The boost-mode frequency is 1807 MHz and the video buffer is powered up by a 8 GB of GDDR6 memory with a 128-bit bus and an effective frequency of 14 GHz. In other words, the GeForce RTX 3050 (GA107) re-driver will not be different.
The transformation to the Nvidia GA107 crystal did not have a high appetite for the GeForce RTX 3050. Since it takes 130 watts, the updated version consumes 115 watts and is replaced by an eight-pin auxiliary power connector.
A date has not been released regarding the MSI GeForce RTX 3050 Ventus 2X 8G OCV1 graphics card.
