Madden 23 won’t load, stuck on loading screen – Fixes

Madden NFL series is very popular not only among football fans but also among all fans of sports games. Unfortunately, some players have been experiencing issues while playing Madden 23 that have caused the game to crash or simply not load. This could be happening for a number of reasons that are not related to server issues but hopefully it can be resolved. Therefore, we have outlined the different fixes that could boost it and bring it back to the field.

Madden 23 won’t load, stuck on loading screen – Console Solutions

Here are all the solutions if Madden 23 for Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 won’t load or is stuck on a loading screen:

• Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S
  1. Update the Xbox.
  2. Update the game.
  3. Clear your console’s cache.
     • Turn the console completely off and unplug it from the outlet.
     • leave it alone for 60 seconds and then plug it back in.
     • The cache will now be cleared and you can turn your Xbox back on and try the game again.
  4. Check that the console is not overheating.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall the game.

• PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5
  1. Reboot the console.
  2. Update Madden 23.
  3. Clear your console’s cache.
     • Playstation 4
       • Turn the console completely off and unplug it from the outlet.
       • leave it alone for 60 seconds and then plug it back in.
       • The cache will now be cleared and you can turn your PS4 back on and try the game again.
     • playstation 5
       • press and keep the power button and release it on the second beep to start your console in safe mode.
       • Click on the Clear cache and rebuild database option.
       • select Clear system software cache and press okay.
  4. Rebuild your console database.
     • Playstation 4
       • Turn off the console.
       • press and keep the power button and release it on the second beep.
       • Connect a controller to your console and select the rebuild database option.
     • playstation 5
       • press and keep the power button and release it on the second beep to start your console in safe mode.
       • Click on the Clear cache and rebuild database option.
       • select rebuild database.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall the game.

Below are all the solutions if Madden 23 on PC won’t load or gets stuck on a loading screen:

1. Update your video drivers.
2. Uninstall and reinstall your video drivers.
3. Make sure your operating system is fully up to date.
4. Close any third-party software running alongside the game.
   • press the Control, alternativeY Erase buttons on your keyboard and select the Task Manager option.
   • Check all open programs in Task Manager and close any third party software.
5. Activate VSync from the Graphics menu.
6. Lower the graphics settings from the Graphics menu.
