M. Night Shyamalan drops an intense trailer for his upcoming horror film Knock on the Cabin starring Dave Bautista, Jonathan Groff and Rupert Grint.
M. Night Shyamalan’s newest thriller Knock on the Cabin dropped its first trailer and it is an intense tackle a storied horror trope.
The trailer highlights what initially seems to be an idyllic trip as younger Wen and her fathers chill out in an remoted home within the woods. What begins as a captivating vacation backed by funky music shortly escalates into an intense encounter because the trio is compelled to barricade themselves in the home after a bunch of 4 strangers break by home windows and tie them up. Seemingly led by Dave Bautista’s character, the invaders state that they are making an attempt to stop an apocalypse, a process that may require Wen’s mother and father to make an unattainable alternative.
Knock on the Cabin relies on the nationwide best-selling novel The Cabin on the End of the World by Paul Tremblay, the film’s screenplay was penned by Shyamalan, Steve Desmond and Michael Sherman. Speaking concerning the technique of adapting his work, Tremblay revealed that he spent greater than he anticipated quelling web rumors. “I honestly spent a chunk of my 2022 spring quelling internet rumors and putting out Twitter fires connecting the book and movie,” Tremblay revealed. “It reached a point in early June where that became impossible, however, with all the information out there, including the IMDb page. I have been doing my part to be respectful of movie marketing desires and certainly wouldn’t dream of spoiling anything.”
Okaynock on the Cabin stars Bautista, Jonathan Groff, Ben Aldridge, Nikki Amuka-Bird, newcomer Kristen Cui, Abby Quinn and Rupert Grint. The movie arrives in theaters on Feb. 3, 2023.
