To close out 2022, Koei Tecmo decided to release a new teaser trailer for the upcoming game Fate/Samurai Remnant. As soon as I heard the news, the company was working on a new action-RPG for the franchise, but only a lot of details followed, and beyond that idea that it may not be a direct sequel to anything. But instead is in the habit of adding new adventures. That trailer, which was literally released on New Year’s Day in Japan, confirms that, in fact, it didn’t matter, but we’d be getting it on some roads this year. It was part of the teaser that we found out that the developers Type-Moon and Aniplex are involved in the development of this title, so that’s great and promising news for the stories we also get out of. For the trailer itself, there are a few details, but it doesn’t allow the imagination to come up with.

This game makes this a real mess for a child. However, the circumstances surrounding it paint a much different picture than what they’ve seen in the past. At the end of the trailer, we look at something that appears to be a different version of a Servant — Saber Miyamoto Musashi could also be a servant, who has appeared in previous games such as Fate/Grand Order. The game is an amazing premise to introduce when the two guys are meeting, but it isn’t under any current storylines we know, so being able to come together over the next few months is a valuable promotional journey. The trailer in nearly two minutes can be read here in full, as it’s now very clear on us that the company will give us more details in the coming weeks.
