Knives Out Director Rian Johnson Reveals What Games He’s Playing

Crystal Onion: A Knives Out Mystery Y Star Wars: The Last Jedi Director Rian Johnson has revealed which games he is currently playing. Johnson is a huge nerd and fan of video games. Of course, this shouldn’t come as a surprise given that he directed a very, very geeky Star Wars movie, despite the controversy he may have caused among fans. The acclaimed director spent a lot of time on the set of the aforementioned Star Wars movie playing pokemon go and even went on to direct a commercial for the popular mobile game. However, making a movie is a very busy process, so he only has time for a lot of games.

talking to IGNRian Johnson revealed that he really wants to play god of war ragnarok and you already have it downloaded on your PS5. Since you are currently doing the rounds for Crystal Onion: A Knives Out Mystery, you probably haven’t had much time to sit down and immerse yourself in a great game like that. He also noted that he just finished a repeat of Grand Theft Auto V and is in the final stretch of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild on your Nintendo Switch. With his latest movie hitting theaters this week and Netflix in December, you’ll probably have plenty of time to kick back and enjoy these great games and probably pick up other titles you might not have had time for.

Rian Johnson is expected to make a third Knives Out movie at some point in the future, though it’s unclear when that might be or what it would be about at this point. The director also had plans to direct another Star Wars trilogy, though that has been up in the air for some time now. It seems there’s still a wish for it to come true, but it’s unclear if or when it might happen.

Crystal Onion: A Knives Out Mystery is in theaters now and will premiere on Netflix on December 23, 2022. What games are you playing right now? Let me know in the comments or contact me at Twitter @Cade_Onder.
