One Piece Odyssey is an epic adventure RPG where you play the iconic character Luffy and his band of Straw Hat pirates. One Piece games in the past have been tactile when it comes to letting you team up with friends and share the adventure together in co-op. There are certainly plenty of great characters available in the experience, but if you’re wondering if you can include one more, it may not be the best game for you.
Can you play One Piece Odyssey with friends?
The simple answer to the question is no. Unfortunately, One Piece Odyssey won’t include any co-op, split-screen, or online multiplayer modes.. It will focus more on deep storylines and quests that are better suited for solo play, which means you’ll have to go on this adventure alone.
Even though it is single player only, there are many characters that you can unlock within the game and change to whatever you want. In fact, there are puzzles and tasks for you to complete, each designed for a different character throughout the story, so you’ll have the chance to experience various personalities and try out your favorites.

You can always share the experience with a couchmate, but if you’re looking for another option in the One Piece universe, there are others to try. Although One Piece Odyssey and One Piece: Worldseeker do not support multiplayer, the One Piece: Pirate Warriors series does. If you’re looking for a way to enjoy the pirate life with friends, this is the way to go.
