Yesterday it became clear that GeForce NOW cloud gaming service was not only updated in terms of performance and pricing, but also penetrated into the automotive industry. In addition to laptops, tablets, smartphones and smart TVs, those who have already access to these services will get the car owners with fairly high-speed access to the global network.

As NVIDIA explained, to work with GeForce NOW in-car entertainment system, it is enough to use the Google Android operating system or run a corresponding service with a web browser. More than one hundred games will be available to the car owners, of which more than one hundred can be played by a controller. If drivers and front passengers have access to games while they are driving, then using monitors in the back row, the passengers can play in direct competition.

The first to support GeForce NOW on their vehicles are BYD, Polestar and Korean concern Hyundai Motor Group, which produces cars under the Hyundai’s brand, Kia’s and Genesis. In the end, compatibility will be restored via the vehicle which is equipped with digital entertainment based on the NVIDIA platform. Chinese EV and hybrid manufacturer BYD will introduce the NVIDIA DRIVE Hyperion multimedia system this semester. The Nissan Sino-Swedish will add the NVIDIA DRIVE Hyperion – vehicle to their Polestar 3 base with their Onboard PCs. On the other hand, the list of vehicle’s supporting GeForce NOW will not be limited to these models, and the ability to run a car in a lot will depend on the availability of access to it in a particular country of the world.
