Lapis Manalis is the new dungeon added to Final Fantasy XIV in patch 6.3. The dungeon sees you explore the snowy mountains around Garlemald as you try to uncover the mysteries of an abandoned town that was once home to a cult of Reapers. Here’s how to unlock the 6.3 Lapis Manalis dungeon.

To unlock the Lapis Manalis dungeon, you will need to progress through story 6.3 to the fifth quest, King of the Mountain. This is accepted from Alphinaud, in the Tertium, Garlemald (X: 32, Y: 16.5). The base reward for the quest is 5184 gil, but the dungeon rewards include armor, a minion, and more.

As is now standard with story dungeons, everything can be run as part of the Group Finder, or in a trust with a group of NPCs. By default, the dungeon is run with Varshahn, Aliphinaud, and Zero. But you can also choose to run the dungeon with Estinien, Alisae, or Y’shtola, giving you a variety of DPS options.

Lapis Manalis is a level 90 dungeon with a minimum average item level of 590. Make sure you are level 90 and have an average item level of 590 across your entire team before attempting to join the dungeon. It is recommended that you run it as a trust to start with and then with the players!
