If you’re ready to adventure to the vast continent of Tural in Final Fantasy XIV’s Dawntrail expansion, it’s important to know where to pick up the first quest of the main scenario to help you set sail. Where to do the first mission of the Dawntrail main scenario in FFXIV
To reach the land of Tural in the Dawntrail expansion, you will first have to start the new main scenario questline. To do this, you will have to go to Old Sharlayanwhere the story of the Endwalker expansion came to an emotional end.
Once there, check the Main Scenario Quest notification in the top left corner of your screen, if you have it enabled. The first Dawntrail quest is “A new world to explore”, and you will have to go to the Baldesión Annex, which is an easy teleport from old Sharlayan’s Main Aetheryte.
Talk to the NPC in Lalafell Ojika Tsunjika to pick up the level 90 quest, and you’ll be sent to find and speak with your comrade Vieran, Erenville, in the main hall. We won’t give away what follows from there, but basically this quest will take you on your fateful boat trip to Tural alongside the eccentric Wuk Lamat and your fellow Scions.
Once in Tural, if you need to travel back to other regions of Eorzea for other quests and activities, you will need to attune yourself to at least one of Tural’s primary Aetherytes. Once this is done, you will have teleportation available from the mainland. We highly recommend stocking up on Tickets for Aetheryte to alleviate the cost in giles of long distance teleports, which you can easily obtain with Centurio Stamps.
