How to play Deadeye without protection in Apex Legends

The Apex Legends Veiled Collection event will take place from April 24, 2023 to May 8, 2023 and features the reveal of a new upcoming Legend, new collectible items, and a new gameplay mode for players to participate in. The new game mode, TDM Unshielded Deadeye will pit two teams against each other with fast-paced action and a special set of rules.

What is Unarmored Deadeye in Apex Legends?

Shieldless Deadeye mode is Team Deathmatch, where two teams will compete up to 50 kills with a limited charge and no shields or helmets. Players will randomly start with one of three loadouts. There will be no care packages, so players will only be able to use the weapons in the initial loadout or pick them up from other players. Loadouts largely revolve around high-damage one-shot weapons like the Kraber, Wingman, and more. These are the loadouts you can start matches with in Unshielded Deadeye in Apex Legends.

    • Wingman and repeater 30-30
    • Hemlok and G7 Scout
    • Kraber and Sentinel

Unarmoured Deadeye requires a lot of skill to stay alive in quick firefights and some Legend abilities can help tremendously during the match. Here are the best Legends to use for Unshielded Deadeye in Apex Legends.

Best Legends To Use On Unshielded Deadeye In Apex Legends

Bangalore’s abilities are extremely useful in fast-paced action and can help keep players alive with her passive. With no shields available, his Ultimate can also take out enemies very quickly.

Fuse’s abilities can zone and slow down the other team while chipping away at health, which is already very limited. Fuse may lack movement abilities, but his damaging abilities more than make up for it, as players won’t have shields.

Gibby is useful in pretty much any situation, especially if you need a giant shield to prevent enemies from catching you at long range. His Ultimate ability is also very powerful and can take out a group of enemies.

Much like Gibraltar, a shield can be a game changer in Unshielded Deadeye as your health is very limited. Since players will be carrying snipers, pistols, and the occasional Hemlock, Newcastle’s shield can be extremely useful when trading shots.

While Rampart benefits from LMGs, which are not in Unshielded Deadeye, his Ultimate ability gives him an advantage in many fights, as opponents are limited to weapons with smaller magazines and require great aim.

Seer’s abilities help the whole team and they can spot enemies with ease. While her abilities may not deal damage or give her movement, the ability to figure out the enemy’s position, especially on a smaller map, can be very useful.

Since Unshielded Deadeye is an extremely fast-paced Team Deathmatch mode, gunfights will be more important than which Legend you choose. All Legends can be effective in gameplay, so experiment with different ones to find the play style that suits you best.
