One of the boons you can complete after visiting Vanaheim in God of War Ragnarök is Freya’s Lost Peace. You will accompany Freya to her wedding shrine and remove the last ties to Odin and Asgard. She may have navigated the Delta River, but she found the way to Goddess Falls blocked. Here’s how to remove the rocks and find the entrance to Freya’s wedding shrine in God of War Ragnarök.

To get started, you’ll need to disembark from your boat on the east side of the river at Cliffside Ruins. This is the same area where you can accept the Awareness of the Dead quest for Gunhild. To your right is a brick wall that you can scale to get to the ledge above. From there, jump to the top of the three pillars in the center of the beach. Standing on the farthest of the ledge you climbed on, look up the cliff to see a golden chain that is blocked by red vines.

Your main goal is to remove the vine and lower the chain. Place the sigil arrow marks together as shown above, then use your Blades of Chaos to power up the sigil closest to you with Hold L2 + R2. Return to ground level and climb up the golden chain to the cliff above. If you follow the path, you will come to a viewpoint that shows the river rocks that were blocking your path. Use your chisel on the blue relic plate next to it and interact with the resulting runeword to remove the rocks.

With the path open, you can now reach Goddess Falls to complete Favor Freya’s Missing Peace. Row to the location shown above on the map. You will disembark and be quickly greeted by a handful of Wulvers. Defeat them, then start your way up the falls by scaling the crumbling brick wall in the center of the beach. When you get to the ledge above you will see a Lore marker that you can quickly read in a cave to your right. Continue forward by pressing EITHER swing across the gap in front of you.

Your way up will be forward a few steps. Interact with the crumbling wall to your right in the corner to climb up. Before you do, you can burn some red vines to your left with a stealth arrow and Blades of Chaos, then quickly loot the red chest before leaving.

When you have reached the ledge at the top of this wall, you will see one of Odin’s Ravens circling above you. Pause for a moment and hit him with a well-timed ax throw, then jump over the waterfall to the next platform. If you have the map, you will see the Under the Rainbow map treasure on your left. You may also want to stop and open the Nornir Chest here.

To the left of the waterfall with a Nornir torch on top is a hidden entrance covered in vines. She interacts with him to ask Freya to open the way to the Vanir Shrine.

Location of Freya’s three belongings in God of War Ragnarök

Freya’s three belongings related to her wedding that she wants to destroy are here in the Vanir sanctuary. However, she must find the first two before she can find the final belonging. Before you can find those two, you’ll need to fight a Soul Eater in the center of the Vanir Shrine. Once you’ve finished that battle, you’re ready to start the quest.

To your left from the center of the Vanir Shrine is a drawbridge. (There is also a Lore marker and a treasure map called The Giant’s Toes nearby.) To lower the drawbridge, chain together stealth arrows as shown in the image above. Use your Blades of Chaos to power them up, then throw your ax at the targets on either side of the drawbridge to lower it all the way.

You will fight some Nightmares in the next room. After they are defeated, you can find another Lore Marker here. When you’re ready, continue to the next room.

Before fighting the enemies in this room, you might want to stop and solve a puzzle. You’ll see some blue brambles to your right as you enter, burn them down and look through the small opening it reveals. Hit the target with your ax to open the way to a legendary chest in the previous room where you defeated the Nightmares. Contains a powerful Light Runic Attack for your Blades of Chaos.

With that out of the way, head back to the second room and fight the Revenants there. When you’re done, you’ll find Freya’s Circlet at the back of the room. Once she’s destroyed it, Freya will clear the green vines to your right and reveal a rune plate that you’ll need to use your chisel on. Reveals half a rune word needed to find the final membership. For now, head back to the center of the Vanir Shrine to find the second belonging.

If you turn right from the entrance of the Vanir Shrine, you will see a large circular door. You will have to light the two torches on top at the same time. Start by using a stealth arrow to burn the vine vines that cover the torch on the left side of the door. Then, to light both torches at the same time, place sigil marks as shown in the image above and light the central sigil with your Blades of Chaos.

Go through the door and try to ignore the first enemy you come across. You won’t be able to beat him until you’ve dealt with the Nokken in the next room. To get to the next room, you’ll need to clear the red vines blocking the entrance. You’ll see the Nokken pretty quickly after running down the hall. Once all the enemies are defeated, you can collect the loot in the area. What you will need to find is the chalice that rests on a pedestal in the back right corner of the second room, where the Nokken was.

Freya will reveal another relic plaque in the back left corner of the room. She will unlock the second half of the rune word that you will need to reach the third belonging.

Freya’s third belonging location in the Vanir Shrine

Now that the Runic Word is complete, head back to the entrance of the Vanir Shrine and interact with the word to reveal a path to the center of the shrine. You will find a Lore Scroll to the right of a door that you will open with your chisel. You don’t need to fight here, you just have to watch a scene where Freya accepts her past and takes the sword. This will unlock the Mardöll sword option for Freya. Take a look at the Lore Marker when you exit the room and the Vanir Shrine.

How to beat the two Drekki in Goddess Falls

Did you think you were done fighting? Not quite. After leaving the Vanir Sanctuary, just as you are about to return to your boat, a Drekki will almost eat you. Press EITHER repeatedly to escape its jaws and start the fight with not one Drekki, but two. We recommend focusing on one at a time, starting with the black and red Drekki. Stay out of the water if you can, because the electrified blue and red Drekki will have an advantage there. Once you’ve killed them both, this boon is complete.
