Magmammoths are some of the coolest beastly creatures to roam the Dragon Isles, and if you’re anything like us, you’re probably wondering if you can get your hands on one as a mount. Well, luckily, we’re happy to report if you can, but it’s going to take a lot of dedication to get it. There are a number of requirements, easily accessible, but time consuming. Here is everything you need to know about how to get the Loyal Magmamut for your mount collection in WoW Dragonflight.

Obtaining Loyal Magmammoth in WoW Dragonflight
The Loyal Magmammoth mount, unlike most other mounts, cannot be bought from a store or looted from a. Instead, you have to opt for a small minigame to get it. However, before we get ahead of ourselves, let’s talk about the requirements to start the process. It’s a bit different from the usual checklist:
- Reach maximum reputation with Sabelian
- Reach maximum reputation with Wrathion
Once you have the reputation, you will need to purchase two specific items. The following items are purchased from the Sabelian and Wrathion quartermasters, respectively:
- Netherforged Lavaproof Boots – Purchase Quartermasters Samia Inkling or Xaldrass for 800 gold
- Hardy Obsidian Glasses – Buy it from quartermasters Lorena Belle or Atticus Belle for 800 gold
Your last requirement is to buy the Magmammoth Harness of Yries Fingers of Light. The harness is purchased with the Netherforged Lavaproof Boots and the Strong Obsidian Goggles. It can’t be obtained if you don’t have both items, hence the reputation requirements.
Now that you’ve done all of the above setup, it’s time to get your mount. go to the fiery ascent and look for a tame magmammoth wandering near. Approach him and hover over the magmammoth until he gives you the option to ride it. While riding the beast, open your inventory and click on the harness. Doing so will add the Loyal Magmammoth mount to his collection and grant him the Grand Theft Mammoth achievement in the process. Enjoy your new lava spitting mammoth!
