Immerse yourself in the ultimate survival game on Roblox, where you are a castaway on an island and must survive with everything the land has to offer. You’ll need to sustain your hunger to stay healthy and strong, which means you’ll need to find a way to get a steady source of food. Farming is one of the best ways to keep getting food and can offer some of the best food to restore hunger and health. Here’s how to get started planting and growing your own crops.
How to farm in The Survival Game
To start farming, you’ll need the right tools and materials. You will not be able to start plowing the proper soil without a shovel. So first, make sure you have a craft table placed near your desired camp. To do this, you will need a Hammer, which you should have at the beginning of the game. Creating a workbench requires five pieces of wood and two ropes. You can easily get them by cutting down some nearby trees and then opening your crafting menu with C. and making two ropes with your leaves.
Once you have your workbench set up, you can start making your shovel.
The shovel will be at the bottom left of the crafting bench menu and you will need sharp stones, a tool handle, and two ropes to craft it. You can also do all of this at your crafting bench; just make sure you collect the right wood, stone and leaves from nearby resources.

Once you craft the Shovel, make sure you have it equipped in the bottom toolbar by opening your Inventory with me. Find the Shovel inside your Inventory menu, press To equip on the right side, and then select the empty numbered slot you want to equip it in. Now that you have your shovel ready, you can start tilling the soil.
Press the corresponding number of your Shovel slot on your keyboard to pull out your Shovel. Make sure you have the option till the soil selected on the left side of your screen. This will allow you to add or remove parcels of land. Hover your mouse over the ground and look at the highlighted square. This is where your plot will be placed, but it will need to be in flat grass or dirt land. When the square lights up green, it means you can place the land in that space. You will see small rows of dirt once it is placed. If you accidentally put one in a place you don’t want, just select the Remove left button and click it again.

After all the plots of land are tilled, you can start planting your seeds. select the icon plant seeds directly below the Till Soil option on the left side of the screen. This will reveal all the seed options you currently have available. To get seeds, you will need to locate some wild carrot or wheat plants and have some carrots or wheat in your inventory.
Select the available seeds from the smaller icons next to Plant Seeds and then click on the plot of soil you want them to grow on. It will light up green when the soil is available for planting. If you see little plants start to grow out of the soil, you know you’ve successfully planted them. Now you can wait for them to grow and harvest them with your rock or axe.
Farming is one of the best ways to maintain a constant supply of food in your island camp. Once you start growing and harvesting them, you should always have a profitable amount, something to plant, and something to eat. Wheat can be great for crafting as well as cooking some tasty foods alongside carrots.
