One Piece Odyssey lets you play as some of your favorite One Piece characters in the ultimate adventure with turn-based combat and other unique features. Not only can you use each character’s unique abilities to defeat enemies, but you also create other useful items that can give you the upper hand. Trick Balls can be crafted through Usopp’s factory menu and can provide buffs and debuffs during your battles.
How to make Trick Balls in the Usopp Factory
You create Trick Balls in various taverns you meet during your adventure. You can select the Craft menu by talking to the bartender in the tavern. This will give you the option to cook food or create trick balls. You will then have access to Usopp’s Factory, which will provide you with all the Trick Ball options you can create.
Each Trick Ball has certain requirements to craft, such as the specific materials required. These will be listed at the bottom of the screen, notifying you how many you currently carry, plus the number you need for the recipe.
You can find a description of the item on the right side of the screen. Here you will find all the details about the effects that Trick Ball will have when used in battle. Most of them have a chance to make opponents faint or paralyzed, as well as add less resistance or increase damage to your attacks.

How to get materials in One Piece Odyssey
If you don’t currently have the required materials, you can find some by wandering the world in any open world space. take care of breakable containers either shiny objects with markers on them. These lootable items are often the materials you need for crafting.
How to use Trick Balls in One Piece Odyssey
To use your creations in battle, select the Items option of your action selections at the bottom of your battle screen. From here, you can use items like food, healing, and Trick Balls. Switch to the third tab to find your available Trick Balls. Using one will drain your character’s action, but the effects often set the rest of your team up for success and last for several rounds.
You can use these craftable items to give yourself an advantage during battle. They can often paralyze your opponents, preventing them from attacking, and make them vulnerable to further attacks so you can more easily defeat them. Be sure to collect as many materials as you can as you venture out into the world so you don’t miss out on these epic creations.
