Kobold’s Treasure Holiday Event Guide: Roanoke, The Brood Lord

Introduction

This is currently the easiest episode yet, so I don’t really know why you’d need a guide, but here it is if you want one.

Kobold’s Treasure Event: April 06 – April 16

Find the forgotten prisoner and reveal his secret! The challenge will be permanently available in-game.

• H. You need to find a place with lots of crystals.
• A. Second map, Caves of Dhalzog.

• H. Walk around the map.
• A. You should find a cage with a lil man trapped inside.

• Q. I destroyed it, now what?
• H. Wait for something else to be born.
• A. Crystal Eggs will spawn randomly on the map.

• Q. I collected 8 eggs! Now what?
• H. Deliver them to the lil man.
• A. You have too many deliveries.

Map: Caves of Dhalzog

Enter The Caves of Dhalzog (map 2) at any curse severity (or if you want to do this once, just look at severity 34+, medium, and hard).

To unlock this map, defeat the boss from Map 1.

Kobold

Free kobold on the top left of the map of Dhalzog, followed by a sigil on the ground.

You have about a minute to free it before the event fails to start, requiring you to restart the map to start again.

Crystal eggs

• Crystal Eggs will now spawn randomly around the map.
• Touch them to pick them up.
• Provide 50 eggs to Sigil.
• You can have up to 8 eggs but you can lay any number at once.
• When you are done there will be a large egg and the sigil will disappear.

Roanoke, Brood Lord

• Finish the run and return to the kobold.
• Enter the portal and kill Brood Lord Roanoke to complete the event.

Suggestions

Use the dashes! You can also dash by grabbing the eggs which makes you move really slow.

Dash Mastery would be a good idea as well as using Sentinel or Assassin.

Any number of eggs can be swapped and added, sometimes it’s safer to just grab 2 eggs so you can still run faster!

Medium and Hard

Similar to the previous event, there are 2 other secret skills and achievements, which will require you to do the same thing but with Curse Intensities 18+ and 34+ respectively.

Doing 34+ first will get you all 3 achievements at once, and doing 18+ first will give you the bottom 2.

Any curse works until you reach the threshold.
