The Memory Mania event at Disney Dreamlight Valley will take place from June 26 to July 17, 2024. This event is to help celebrate the release of Inside Out 2 and brings several elements to the Valley that can be seen in the movie.
Where to find souvenir items at Disney Dreamlight Valley
The Memory Mania event launched alongside a free content update where players can unlock Mulan and Mushu in Disney Dreamlight Valley.
There are three specific items hidden around your Valley and three Kingdoms that you can find. In any given location, there will be between one and three of these items.
- He skating trophies It can be found in both Scrooge’s Store and Dream Castle.
- He Team Hokey (a small shelf, no higher than your avatar’s knee) can be found inside Mickey’s House, Merlin’s House, and Goofy’s House.
- The pink Birthday cake can be found scattered throughout these Kingdoms: Moana, Ratatouille and WALL-E.
What to do when you find a memory item
When you find a skating trophy, Hokey gear, or birthday cake, interact with it. Each of them will immediately become a memory orb:
- Blue memories come from the Skating Trophies
- The yellow memories come from the Hockey Team.
- Pink memories come from birthday cakes.
Memory orbs become puzzle pieces or gold coins. The puzzle pieces come together to reveal photos from Inside Out 2.

- Animal companion Envy is a teal rabbit with a purple collar around his neck.
- The Anxiety Animal Companion is an orange squirrel that reminds me a lot of Crash Bandicoot. It’s the color.
- The Ennui Animal Companion is a purple and white crow with a peculiar set of feathers on its head.
- The pet of shame is a pink turtle wearing a hoodie.
A quick note about the Memorabilia achievement: Memory Orbs only count towards your total if they are part of a puzzle photo memory. Once you’ve completed it, you’ll get a Lance Slashblade Statue from Inside Out 2.
You’ll have to wait for Memory Orbs to respawn in each location, and you’ll need to check different areas, houses, and realms as often as possible. There doesn’t seem to be any pattern to the placement and respawn of the orbs, like waiting for herbs to appear in your valley.
