To use the Transmog feature in Baldur’s Gate 3, you will need to use the wardrobe in your apartment and create an outfit using one of the slots located on the left of the screen.

Selecting a slot and then placing clothes into the various sections for the head, upper body, and lower body on the right will create an outfit for you. From there, select ‘Equip‘ and then you will notice the outfit in your inventory.

You can now use the inventory to swap out clothes individually to change your stats without altering the actual look of your character, letting you keep the aesthetic you want.

You can create up to six different outfits to equip using your wardrobe, but you will need to return to the wardrobe whenever you want to swap them out. However, you can change saved outfits and the clothes within them from the inventory.
