As you begin your journey in Honkai: Star Rail, you may find that your time is best spent by returning to the previous areas you have unlocked to search for treasure or complete the side quest. Requiem Mass is a mission that you can undertake to investigate some strange happenings aboard the space station Herta. Here’s how to complete it.
Honkai Star Rail—Requiem Mass Side Quest Guide
To start this quest, you will need to have completed at least the first part of road to revival, the first side quest you are given in Honkai: Star Rail. Once you’ve unlocked him, start by finding Arlan and talk to him at the location designated by the blue diamond in the Herta Space Station Supply Zone.
Some creepy photos have circulated among the Space Station crew members. She will need to go and talk to some “researchers” who are in the corner of the Base Zone indicated by the purple diamond. The researchers she is looking for are actually children. Below.
They are grumpy, aren’t they? They are also home to some ghost-like creatures, called Wubbawoos, which seem to be causing the rumors. Follow Adler, one of the kids you were talking to, into a room in the bottom left corner of the map in the Supply Zone.
You will find your first Wubbawoo. Before reporting this case as closed to the security department, you will investigate these adorable specters and their motives. The Wubbawoos want you to defeat some monsters around the Space Station.

Where to find Wubbawoo’s enemies
Go to the area indicated by the blue diamond in the Storage Zone and defeat the enemies that a Wubbawoo is looking at. You will then be required to fight another monster a bit to the right and down your map. Your third and final fight will be in the center bridge area of the Supply Zone, against a Voidranger: Trampler who is going up against a rather large Wubbawoo.
After you have defeated all of these enemies, head back to the Wubbawoo you met with Adler. All the enemies had the belongings of a missing researcher. When you return them, they will tell you where the rest of the Wubbawoos are hiding. It’s in a puzzle-filled area of the Storage Zone.
How to solve the bridge puzzle and find the Wubbawoos in Honkai Star Rail
When you reach the Crimson Calyx, you will have reached the puzzle. You’ll want to go down the ramp first, then you’ll find a red and blue bridge switch at the end of the path. Interact with the switch to turn the blue jumper on and turn off the red jumpers.
Cross the blue bridge and make the U-turn along the path, at the bottom of the next ramp is a simple witch, shown below. You must interact with it. and turn on the bridge on it to continue to the end of the quest.

Follow the path until you reach a roundabout. A red and blue switch is hidden behind some gray storage bins that you need to interact with next.
After you flip that switch, you’ll be able to continue across the red and white bridges, to a platform with another red and blue switch. Use that switch to turn the blue jumpers back on, allowing you to continue to the back of the room where the Wubbawoos are hiding. Don’t forget to pick up the Precious Chest here, which has 30 Star Jade, 40 Hertareum, and a copy of Ambera pretty decent three-star cone of light.
How to photograph Wubbawoos
You will discover that all the Wubbawoos are mourning the loss of the researcher, whom they considered a friend. Your last task will be to take three pictures of the Wubbawoos to commemorate their mourning. Use the Camera button at the bottom right corner of the screen to take the photos, you just need to hover over the indicated targets to take the photo. One important note, you must take a picture of the great Wubbawoo from inside the back roomnot standing out in the way.
