HoYoverse recently hosted a special presentation dedicated to the upcoming Genshin Impact 3.2 update. The developer revealed a ton of new information about content coming to the game, such as new characters Nahida and Layla, events, codes, character banners, and a conclusion to Sumeru Archon’s guest lineup.
It will please those who are eagerly awaiting the new update that the developer team announced will arrive on November 2. Players just need to wait a little over a week for new content to go live. The livestream provided a substantial breakdown of new characters and bosses, as well as various events that players can dive into to earn rewards.
Nahida and Layla are the two newest characters to join the roster. Nahida is a five star character who can convert his elemental powers into support buffs for his team. She can mark enemies to chain damage by hitting them with one of her abilities. Nahida also has a crowd control ability that could be useful against groups of enemies. Layla, for her part, specializes in a sword as a melee attacker, generating a shield around her thanks to her elemental ability. Both characters have their own strengths and weaknesses, requiring players to build a team around their moveset.
Version 3.2 includes the final chapter of the Sumeru Archon guest line, featuring the new Scaramouche boss fight. Additionally, there will be new events where players can earn rewards simply by completing tasks. For example, the Adventurer’s Trail event features combat and puzzle challenges for players to collect coins, as the Fabulous Fungi Frenzi has players capture enemy mushrooms to use on combat trails to earn premium gems. Hypostatic Symphony and Outside the Canvas, inside the lens are the other two events that will appear in-game when version 3.2 launches next week.
Lastly, Genshin Impact adds character banners for Nahida, Yoimiya, Tartagula, Yae Miko, and Layla with the latest update. You can find all the details in the showcase live stream embedded above.
