As Khvarena’s Light Shows is the fourth mission of the Khvarena of good and evil quest chain Automatically unlocked after completing the following prerequisites:
During the quest, Sorush will obtain the Two-Horned Chaplet, allowing her to collect the Great Songs of Khvarena. The quest will be divided into three subquests, one of which is As the light of Khvarena shows: Nirodha.

Start by heading to the mission location west of the Asipattravana swamp. When you get there, a cutscene and dialogue will immediately play, and the path will open, allowing you to enter the cave. Once inside, follow the path forward (turn on the quest browser if you get lost) until you come to the front of a locked door.
You need to interact with the mechanism in front of the door so that the symbols follow the correct order. See the image above for the correct order of symbols, or do the following:
- Rotate the top level once.
- Turn the middle level twice.
Once the symbols are correct, enter the door to trigger a small scene and have a dialogue with Nasejuna.
Find power block
Go up the stairs that Nasejuna is facing, then go through the door (the same one you came in from). Once you pass through, it will close behind. Keep going through the swampy path until you see the crystallized Rifthounds.
Enter the cave behind the crystallized Rifthounds and follow the path ahead to find the Power of Khvarena (floating green orb). approach him and follow it like a seelie. It will release the Rifthounds, which you can defeat to get an optional Chest. Keep following Khvarena’s Power until she stops in front of the large door.
Interact with the mechanism to open the door and follow Khvarena’s power inside. She will immediately find a bright spotwith which you must interact to obtain the mysterious energy block.

Return to the control center
Continue following Khvarena’s Might through the tunnel. It will stop in front of another closed door. As before, you must interact with the mechanism in front of the door so that the symbols follow the correct order. See the image above for the correct order of symbols, or do the following:
- Rotate the top level twice.
- Turn the middle level once.
- Rotate the lower level twice.
Once the symbols are set correctly, the door will open.
Keep following the power of Khvarena until he stops in front of a large door. Interact with the mechanism to open it, then go inside and get closer to Nasejuna to trigger the dialog.
Go to the control center where the relays can be found.
From the control center, look west (see minimap above) and exit the area through the large door. Once you’re outside, head downstairs to find a bright spot. Get closer to activate the dialogue with Nasejuna.
Having done this, interact with the nearby mechanism, which is called the Mixer. Turn the mixer once so that the arrow is facing the stairs going down. This will open a nearby door.
Then head downstairs and pay attention to the left side of the area. You will find an open door, which you need to go through to find a room full of mixers.
connect the circuit
First, you need to remove the gray crystals that cover the mixers. Climb the ladder that the up arrow points to until you reach the top.
You will see a Power of Khvarena. Interact with it to pick it up, then head back downstairs. Khvarena’s Might will get rid of the Gray Crystals, but only temporarily. For the deletion to be permanent, you must place it between two crystallized mixers.
Stand between two previously crystallized Mixers and use the place button (T for PC) to place Khvarena’s Power on the ground. The controls differ by device, but you can find the exact button at the bottom right of the screen.
Then, go through the tunnel to the left of the entrance, where the arrow points up. Follow the path forward until you reach a swampy area. Interact with the second Power of Khvarena to pick it up, then place it between the last two Crystallized Mixers.
If you followed the instructions, your room should look like the one above. A Power of Khvarena between the two Mixers on the left and another between the two on the right. There should be no gray crystals blocking mixers ever again.
Next, you need to rotate the mixers so that all the circuits are connected correctly. Simply interact with the mixers until they are facing the correct direction.
Assuming the door is facing you, rotate all mixers so they are facing the directions specified in the image above, except for the leftmost mixer (circled above).
The leftmost mixer must be moved twice to solve this puzzle. First, turn it so that it is facing forward. This will open the next door, revealing another Mixer inside the small room.
Rotate the in-room mixer to face out and the out-of-room mixer to face in. Following these rotations, as well as the rest of the ones shown above, will complete the puzzle.

Go investigate the proving ground
Exit the room through the large door, then follow the path forward until you exit the long tunnel. Once you’re outside, slide down and head down the stairs to find a bright spot. Get closer to activate the dialogue with Nasejuna. Once this is done, enter the huge clearing ahead.
Interact with the device in the clearing to trigger a scene. A mechanism will appear in the center of the room. Research it to start the battle sequence.
Defeat all opponents
Waves of Ruin opponents will appear. Your goal is to defeat them all. Keep in mind that there is a long pause between spawning opponents, so you can hide behind the device to avoid getting hit by the laser from afar.
Whenever Sorush creates a barrier, stand in the middle (stand below Sorush) to avoid getting hit by the barrage of lasers. Follow the same pattern until all enemies (last being a Ruin Drake) are defeated.
Use the Ruin Cannon to destroy the Golem’s core.
Interact with the mechanism in the center of the room to Activate he. Your goal is to aim and hit the golden core circled above. It will move from time to time, so aim carefully!
The core will occasionally create a triangular shield. When this happens, aim and hit the three cores at each point of the triangle to destroy them. When all three shield cores have been destroyed, you can target and attack the main core again. Follow the same pattern until the golden core is completely destroyed. You will get the Wonders of the World achievement called Behold my Fair Strike!
Browse open device
Use the four-leaf seals to propel yourself into the Golem’s core, where you’ll find a mechanism. Interact with him to open the door. Go through the door and follow the path forward. Don’t forget to pick up the luxury chest along the path.
Obtain the Great Song of Khvarena
To obtain the Great Song of Khvarena, you must equip Sorush from the Gadgets inventory. Sorush can be activated by the Gadget button (Z for PC), and its controls can be seen on the bottom right of the screen (varies by device). The PC controls are below, but check your screen for your controls:
- right mouse button – fly faster
- Space – fly higher
- left ctrl – fly lower
- my – use the power of Sorush
- hold E – activate Sorush’s Two-horned Chaplet power
Using Sorush, fly towards the Great Song of Khvarena (pictured above) and use her Elemental Ability to obtain it, completing this World Quest segment.
