One of the reasons why For Honor is such a popular game is the balance between the characters. Whenever the developers update the character roster, they make sure that each hero has a counter and that no one character dominates over the others. However, there will always be characters that outperform the majority. Players consider them in the meta and use them in competitive games. This article will give you an up-to-date list of character levels in For Honor.

For Honor Tier List System
- S-level: This level contains the best of the best. For Honor is a skill-based game that requires you to know the ins and outs to win, but these characters will give you an edge in the fight. Opponents going against you will fight an uphill battle if they have a fighter from one of the lower tiers.
- A-level: These characters may not be the cream of the crop like S-tier characters, but they still have a solid fighting chance against them. They sit a step below the best just because they fall behind on a stat or because some of their abilities aren’t that flashy.
- B-level: The heroes of this level have some trait that is missing compared to the higher levels. They’re not flawed characters yet, but you’ll need to keep in mind the opponents you’ll be up against.
- C-level: This tier list is a selection of intermediate characters. They aren’t the worst you can pick, but they will be outshone by many other characters. We recommend that you only play these characters if you have to and choose your opponents carefully.
- D-level: These characters are, in our opinion, below average. You generally shouldn’t pick them unless you know what you’re doing with them and what opponent you’ll be up against in combat. Fighting with them will be an uphill battle because many other characters will easily outplay them.
- F-level: The characters on this list are really at the bottom of the barrel. You should avoid choosing the, at all costs. And if you’re lucky enough to see them face off against you, you can count on having an easy time fighting them.
