2022 was a significant year for Bandai’sDragon Ball Super Card Game. We saw the release of the two final sets of the Unified Wars trilogy withRealm of the Gods andUltimate Squad followed by the two first sets of the Zenkai series withDawn of the Z-Legends andFighter’s Ambition. I saw a hobby-shifting secret rares, the introduction of the controversial God Rares, a special Anniversary Set, new decks, and more. At the end of 2023, our focus is to get back on the calendar of 2022.

It is only talked about, when not only the mainDragon Ball Super anime is returning, but a special second series – in which we can no reveal something. The Dragon Ball saga is the final game of my biggest hopes: that we will make more anime and even more official anime, and that the Dragon Ball Super Card game will get new sagas as a new saga full of cards, with new faces, and forms and the new content inspired by this storyline.

These cards enhance the effectiveness of playing boosters ofDBSCG, reducing the total of what can be pulled and, honestly, the amount of fun that could be had.

Finally, one thing that isn’t fun for collectors is God Rares. God Rares were introduced as cards so difficult to find, the developers think that they’re going to look like a “miracle” if you pulled them. Those studying the pull rate of these cards believe that rate may be one in three cases. One carton of six also, and then there are five boxes. This leads to low interest rates on the secondary market, which has led to a bad situation. Many completionist collectors can’t take part in a previously accessible hobby. There are currently two great, God Rares in the hobby, with one being already set for next year. It’s the last.
