Konni Secrets is the story mission for the Tier 2 Shadow Company faction in Call of Duty: Warzone 2 DMZ. For this mission, players are required to gather information about the hostile Konni group in Al Mazrah and Ashika Island. Here’s a step-by-step guide on how to complete this mission.
DMZ Konni Secrets Mission
- Find the intel off of Konni’s Bomb Maker.
- Send a false signal for Konni reinforcements at the target location.
- Take and extract the combat intel off of the Konni reinforcements.
How to get the intel off of Konni’s Bomb Maker
For the first task, deploy into Ashika Island and head to the Tsuki Castle POI at the center of the map. Konni’s Bomb Maker can be found on the top floor of this locked building. Destroy the Wheelson patrolling the area and then hack it to unlock the entrance doors. Alternatively, I’d suggest you simply use the Tsuki Castle Hideout Key to open the door if you have the key.
Enter the building and make it to the top floor dodging and killing the traps, sentry turrets, and enemies in your way. After you kill the Konni’s Bomb Maker on the top floor, he’ll drop some valuable gear including the Missile Intel document. Pick it up and the first task of the mission will be over. You can read the note for the next steps, but you don’t have to as I’ve explained everything below.

Where to send a false signal for Konni reinforcements
For the next step, you need to deploy into Al Mazrah and go to the Zaya Observatory Tunnel Entrance. I’ve marked the exact location of the tunnel on the map above. Upon approaching the entrance, you get the Send Signal Flare prompt on your screen (see third image). Press the interact button to send a false signal for Konni reinforcements, which will complete the second task.
How to get the combat intel off of Konni reinforcements
A short while after sending the singal flare, a reinforcement helicopter will arrive right behind you. Kill the Konni reinforcements converging on your location. You’ll notice these enemies will drop the Assault Plan documents on their bodies. Collect at least one such combat intel and exfil from the map to complete the Konni Secrets story mission.
Completing this mission will unlock the Brass Knuckles weapon charm, which you can equip on your loadout weapons via the gunsmith. It’ll also unlock the Tier 3 mission set for the Shadow Company faction (currently unavailble).
