Crab Champions is a rogue-like crab shooter where you play as a crab with great disregard for other crabs, ants, and giant floating skulls. As ridiculous as it sounds, it’s an explosive experience with fluid movement systems, tons of weapons, and an incredible list of soundtracks to boot. While his chances of getting the right advantages in each run are not guaranteed, he can select the weapon of his choice before venturing out on each of his crab-slaying sprees. Of course, not all weapons are the same. Therefore, we have made a ranked list of all the weapons in Crab Champions for your perusal.
Weapon Tier List for Crab Champions
Level | Weapon |
---|---|
S | Machine Gun, Blade Launcher, Orb Launcher |
TO | Crossbow, sniper, automatic shotgun |
B. | Dual Shotguns, Dual Pistols, Auto Rifle |
C. | Burst Pistol, Cluster Launcher |
D. | Rocket launcher |
All Weapons In Crab Champions, Ranked
Weapons in Crab Champions are obtained by collecting keys that you will get by defeating bosses at the end of each biome. You will need three keys to unlock a random weapon from the key totem on Hub Island. Also, you can only unlock a new weapon once per race. With that being said, the following are the best weapons in Crab Champions, ranked.
S-level
Machine gun
The Minigun is arguably the best weapon in the game thanks to the sheer size of its magazine, which ensures you can mow down hordes of enemies without needing to hold fire to reload. You get significant buffs from perks that increase damage and critical chance, as well as weapon mods that add extra projectiles and elemental damage.
blade launcher
The Blade Launcher rapidly fires disc-shaped blades at targets. Projectiles from this weapon pierce through enemies and the weapon has a decent rate of fire. If you can find a place on the map where enemies only spawn and attack you from one direction, Blade Launcher will make sure you pass the levels with ease.
orb launcher
The Orb Launcher is as controversial as it gets. It had a reputation for being one of the worst weapons in the game, but is now an absolute beast after receiving huge buffs in recent updates. The slow projectile speed of this weapon is its only drawback. Combine it with perks to increase fire rate and projectile speed, and mods to add additional elemental and projectile effects for the best build. The slow projectile speed of this weapon is its only drawback.

a level
Crossbow
The crossbow fires seven arrow-shaped projectiles that spread out in a cone shape. It deals high damage and can even autofire. However, due to its spread effect, it has a hard time dealing solid damage to singular targets and bosses. But, it greatly excels at taking out enemies at a wide range in front of you.
Sniper
The Sniper works exactly as it sounds. His basic attributes are long range, high damage, and slow fire rate. It might seem like a poor weapon choice at first, but it scales beautifully with perks and mods that increase fire rate and critical chance. Due to the high-damage projectile nature of this weapon, it’s also excellent for taking down boss tanks, which you’ll mostly be fighting solo.
automatic shotgun
The auto shotgun has a fast fire rate and decent range compared to dual shotguns. As a shotgun, it deals massive damage to single targets. This weapon works great with higher critical chance builds, or even builds that focus on elemental damage.
B-level
dual shotguns
Dual Shotguns do a lot of damage at the cost of range and rate of fire. Therefore, it is best combined with mods to increase projectile speed and reduce projectile spread. It’s also worth keeping in mind that you lose the ability to aim with this weapon, which subsequently negates the slow effect you get with other weapons while aiming in the air.
double guns
Dual pistols have decent damage and a great rate of fire. However, its construction will really determine the usefulness of this weapon. Like double shotguns, you lose the ability to aim with this weapon. To maximize damage output, consider equipping perks to increase fire rate, ammo efficiency, and mods for extra shells to back up your default bullets.
automatic rifle
The automatic rifle is the first weapon you get in Crab Champions. It’s a simple auto rifle that’s great for a lot of builds. However, if you’re looking for an auto-firing weapon to take down massive hordes of enemies, the Minigun easily beats the Auto Rifle.

C-level
burst pistol
The burst pistol fires four rounds in rapid succession each time the trigger is pulled. While it does good single target damage, it spreads little and the rate of fire keeps it from being great at higher levels where hordes of enemies are rushing at you. You’ll eventually need tons of extra projectiles and elemental damage upgrades to get the most out of it as you progress through the levels.
cluster launcher
The Cluster Launcher fires several orb-shaped projectiles that explode on impact, dealing heavy splash damage in an area around the target. Aimed shots reduce the spread of projectiles, while hip-firing causes projectiles to spread out even further. It’s good for taking down groups of enemies, but not for taking down bosses.
D-level
Rocket launcher
The Rocket Launcher is by far the most cumbersome weapon to use. While it has high projectile damage, its fire rate is very low and you will need to constantly reload the weapon. If it’s an explosive build you want, it’s much better to go for a grenade-focused build instead of using the Rocket Launcher.
