This guide covers the Week 2 Missions in Operation Riptide with details, tips and tricks to help you along
Week 2 Overview
Welcome to the Riptide Missions Guide! Today, we’ll be covering the Week 2 missions and how to complete them (with in-depth steps).
First of all, a quick overview of the second week. Unlike the first, you can only collect 6 stars this week. This means there’s only 4 available missions to complete.
Week 2 missions in-game
Short Match – Basalt
The first mission (much like the third mission in Week 1) requires you to win a single match / win 21 rounds in a Short Premier match on Basalt.
Being a new map, many players are unaware of how to play this new and unique map. Use this to your advantage and practice beforehand on a custom server.
Another tip is to bring in your friends to help you with communication, teamplay – and hopefully the eventual wins and rounds you need to complete the first objective.
The second mission requires you to get 25 total kills on Sirocco.
The enemies will be mostly approaching from both sides of the bridge – use your utility (mostly HE’s and molotovs) to secure you this mission. Otherwise, long range weapons are essential. Perhaps even a little Negev posted on the north side of the bridge could work.
Aim Above The Flippers
The third mission requires you to get headshot kills inside of any Deathmatch game.
- Get 50 headshot kills or
- Get 30 headshot kills in a single match
Go T side and use the AK – you’ll easily be able to get all the headshots in a single match. Otherwise, use the XM1014. It sounds weird – but trust me. Hold close angles and you’ll rack up headshots in no time.
The last mission seems easy on the surface but can be hard to complete – follow the tip down below to complete the following objectives:
- Get 14 kills
- Deal grenade damage (any)
Getting 14 kills can be challenging – especially in a quick-fire gamemode like Demolition – however if you hold some unpredictable angles it should be easy to get the 14 kills required in a game or two.
The second objective can be completed in a single game as there isn’t a set barrier for the damage required – you could literally deal 1 point of damage and it would be done. However, getting grenades in Demolition requires multi-kills inside of a single round (you are gifted the grenade the successive round). So, just pray for a molotov and throw it down near a chokepoint – you’re almost near guaranteed to get some damage down.
