Millions of fans of Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy would like to get a particularly rich present this year. In November of the year of Phase 4 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Disney released a Christmas special on the Galactic Chaos Squad on Disney Plus. The first emotional trailer for Guardians of the Galaxy, released in December 2014, stars James Gunn and the cast of a movie released in 2014.

The superhero troupe and director James Gunn could well have been relatively unknown to the public before the release of the first movie in 2014. The rest is history. The MCU and the general culture also now take on Peter Quill, aka Star-Lord, Gamora, Groot, Rocket, Drax, Mantis, Nebula and Kraglin. The colourful characters of the Guardians are motifs and are worthy of a great cosplay.
