    • Tectoy has announced two handheld PCs, Zeenix Pro and Zeenix Lite.
    • As the name implies, the Pro is a more powerful version.
    • Zenix will be launched in Brazil before the rest of the world.

While it may not be a recognizable name to most of the world, Tectoy is a well-known company in Brazil for good reason. Way back when, they developed, published and distributed Sega consoles and games in the country. Now, they’re looking to get back into the handheld market with the Zeenix Pro and Lite, two portable PCs releasing soon in Brazil, with a global launch also on the cards.

Such real-world examples are often better than cold hard numbers.

Zeenix Pro and Lite will come pre-installed with Zeenix Hub, which promises to streamline your games from various stores into one convenient place. This is completely optional, though, so if you want to stick with what you know, you’re free to do so.

There’s currently no word on pricing for either Zeenix version, nor do we know when it will launch in Brazil beyond ‘soon’. Stay tuned to Pocket Gamer, because we’ll let you know when we learn something.
