Valorant developers have created free content for their players over the course of several seasons. Although the 5v5 tactical FPS is free to play, Battle Passes and new seasons give way for the dev team to earn money and release even more content.
But these content drops in Valorant are not in the form of seasons. Valorant gets a new episode every 6 or 7 months. These Episodes are divided into 3 Acts that last around 2 months each. As of now, Riot Games has released five episodes for Valorant so far, and they are listed below.
- Episode 1: Switched on
- Episode 2: Training
- Episode 3: Reflection
- episode 4: Breaking off
- episode 5: Dimension

How does the Battle Pass work in Valorant?
The Battle Pass is a system through which players can support the Valorant team and receive in-game rewards. Battle Pass costs 1000 Valorant Points, which can be purchased in the store. Rewards mainly include cosmetic items such as weapon skins, player cards, weapon charms (companions in arms), sprays, and radianite points. Rewards are spread across all 50 Battle Pass tiers. Players who do not wish to purchase the Battle Pass can also get certain limited goodies through progression.
