Developers Sledgehammer Games have brought the new Retro Warfare event to Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3, which also comes with pixel art-themed gameplay, map, and characters. The event will take place from June 26 to July 3 during which you will be able to unlock free rewards by completing simple challenges.
All Retro Warfare event rewards in MW3 and Warzone – Season 4
The Retro Warfare event features a variety of cosmetics including emblems, calling cards, 2XP tokens, a weapon camo, and a weapon blueprint. To unlock these rewards, you must reach XP milestones simply by playing Modern Warfare 3 Multiplayer, Zombies, and Warzone. Below I list all the available items and how much XP is required to unlock them.

You can see all the cosmetics introduced at the Retro Warfare event in the images above. At first glance, all of these rewards seem good and are heavily inspired by the 8-bit theme the developers are going for.
I’d like to get my hands on the Game Over camo and see if it’s something I can use on my weapons. The Bit Blaster weapon blueprint for the Bruen MK9 LMG looks pretty good and has a good set of accessories; simply equip it with a suppressor and you’ll be ready for Warzone.
The event lasts seven days, so you have enough time to play and earn XP to unlock Retro Warfare event rewards. For those who have purchased the 8-Bit Blitz Pack from the store, be sure to equip one of the four featured skins (Ghost, Price, Soap, or Farah) in the follow-up pack for a 5,000 XP bonus every match. which in turn will increase your challenge progress.
