Take a look at all these announced maps so far and what they entail!

All Texas Chainsaw Massacre Game Maps

The developers of Texas Chainsaw Massacre have stated that they want this experience to have the same iconic feel as the 1974 film franchise, and as such, they detailed and designed the maps to match up with that aesthetic as much as possible. The maps we will play on are inspired by locations we see in the films but have the nitty, gritty areas behind closed doors and unseen spaces as well.

The game will start with three main maps that players can jump into, but there may be more to follow in the future. These maps are all unique from each other and will challenge the players to switch their playstyle to properly survive each one. They will want to stick to dark, well-hidden spots, avoid open areas, and find quick escapes as much as possible, and the maps will provide all of the above in different ways. Take a look at them below:

The Slaughterhouse is bound to be the most terrifying of the locations in this experience. It will feature a few different scattered abandoned buildings and an outer landscape featuring a claustrophobic maze of rubble and cattle panels to navigate through. With all the extra obstacles, it can either be a better place to hide or a harder place to escape from.

The Family House will be a slightly more challenging map to play because any time you are outside, you’ll find yourself in a vast green meadow of sunflowers and plenty of open lines of sight. Your only chance to stay out of view is to venture into the sinister home of the slasher family. You’ll come across plenty of terrors within their house, including a dark, windowless basement.

    Gas Station Map

The Gas Station is another unique map where we met the infamous Cook for the first time. It will feature indoor and outdoor spaces like the rest, littered with junk piles and abandoned cars, potentially useful for dodging behind and attempting to stay out of sight. However, they could prove to be hazardous as well.

This is just our first look at these notorious Texas Chainsaw Massacre maps and how they will be laid out in the experience. Once the game is released, we’ll be able to see exactly how they come to life with classic and new terrifying details.
