    In Remnant 2, you can select from several classes and archetypes while building your character. These classes and archetypes come with specific boosts, perks, traits, gears, and more aspects that allow character customization based on your preference.     Challenger

    The Challenger focuses on close-range combat with exceptional tanking ability. The Challenger archetype puts up a strong fight even against bosses and tougher enemies. War Stomp creates a tremor that ripples forward to devastate enemies. Juggernaut gives increased movment speed with enhanced melee damage. Rampage is the Challenger’s fury which gives hightened movement and reload speed with increased fire rate for a brief time. If you want a durable character with enhanced skill then this is the archetype to choose in Remnant 2.

    Prime Perk – Die Hard

    Handler

    The Handler comes with a pet companion that can help you in tough situations. This archetype is based on supporting teammates on the field. Guard Dog allows you to command the pet to attack different enemies. On the other hand, Support Dog gives the pet more of a medic role where the pet heals teammates within range. Attack Dog is a straightforward skill where the pet deals more damage to enemies. The Handler’s specialty is its Prime Perk which allows the companion to revive your character when downed by enemies.

    If you are a fan of long-range precision combat, then look no further from the Hunter archetype. This is essentially a sniper class with the ability to deal massive damage from a distance. Hunter’s Mark allows you to see enemy locations, even through structures, whereas Hunter’s Shroud masks the character for a short time. Hunter’s Focus enhances your character and marks enemies you aim at. To increase the duration of Focus, keep aim switching at different enemies.

    Medics are primary support class characters in Remnant 2. This character heals much faster than others and also has enhanced relic effectiveness. The Medic archetype is designed for group survivability, so make sure to have a healing teammate before going in. Wellspring creates a AoE healing that regenerates health and reduces blight damage. Healing Shield gives barrier to all teammates within its range. Redemption allows you to revive teammates and provide health regeneration over time.

    Gunslinger

    If you want a weapons expert while fighting enemies in Remnant 2, then Gunslinger is the best choice. This archetype is designed to dish out critical hits while providing quick weapon swap and aiming movement speed. Quickdraw gives your character increased HIP fire accuracy dealing cricital damage to devastate enemies. Sidewinder increases aim movement speed while activating auto-reload for weapons. For Bullet Storm, you’d need a ranged weapon as it increases fire rate and reload speed. Additionally, Bullet Storm turns a single-fire weapon into auto-fire for a brief time.

    Alchemist

    The Alchemist archetype is a combination of support and medic classes in Remnant 2. This archetype specializes in buffing teammates with different potions and consumables. Stone Mist applies stoneskin that reduces incoming damage, blight decay, while providing immunity to other status ailments. Frenzy Dust functions like a stim increasing reload speed, movement speed, and fire rate. Likewise, Elixir of Life grants health regeneration and protection against other effects.

    The Explorer archetype specializes in finding the rarest items in the game while providing utility to teammates. Plainwalker reduces enemy consumption and increases movement speed for you and teammates. Gold Digger allows you to dig the ground to create a fountain that gives a random buff. Fortune Hunter is perhaps the most essential skill for the Explorer as it marks special items in your vicinity.

    Summoner

    The Summoner archetype revolves around creating smaller minions that can deal damage to enemies. The Minion Reaver summons a Root Reaver for 35% of your health. This creature can attack enemies and you can sacrifice it mid-fight to deal explosive damage. Minion Hollow creates a Root Hollow for 15% of your health. Likewise, Minion Flyer summons a Root Flyer for 10% of max health. All of these minions are designed to be sacrficed mid-fight to deal explosive damage on enemies.

    Engineer

    The Engineer is one of the most underrated classes in Remnant 2, and you need to unlock it first to become a Heavy Weapon specialist. This archetype can provide support with different types of Turrets that deal massive damage to enemies. The Vulcan prioritizes the targets you aim at and runs until its ammo gets depleted. The Impact Canon deals explosive damage to enemies nearby. The Flamethrower burns down enemies within its range, and is a brilliant choice while fighting hoardes of enemies.

    If you are looking for a covert tactician with an elusive set of skills, the Invader is your best choice. This archetype specializes in creating decoys to evade and confuse enemies. The Worm Hole skill allows you to rip through space-time to get 300% increased damage on the next melee or ranged attack move. With Void Cloak, you will automatically evade incoming damage for a short time, and it spawns a decoy with auto-evade. Reboot backs up your health, stamina, and status effects while increasing movement speed and damage reduction.
