One of the most important things to discover first in a new Phasmophobia map is where all your reliable hideouts are, as this not only helps with objectives but also protects you from the game’s most ruthless ghosts during hunts. If you’re exploring Point Hope and want to know where to go, here’s our handy guide to all the hideouts in Phasmophobia’s Point Hope map.

All Point Hope hideouts in Phasmophobia

Below are the 11 known caches found throughout the Point Hope Lighthouse map.

Remember that to remain completely hidden from a ghost in these locations while they are actively hunting (see our guide on ghost movement speeds), you must do the following:

    • Mute the microphone on your headphones; Otherwise the ghost will hear your voice.
    • Turn off your night vision goggles and manually dispose of any electronic equipment far enough from your hiding place so as not to attract the ghost.
    • The door to your hideout should be completely closed, as it protects you from a ghost’s “line of sight.” Test this by opening and closing it if necessary.
    • Have at least one incense (or “smudgie” as they are known in the gaming community) on hand with a lighter, in case a ghost gets too close and has a good chance of finding you. If it is a T2 or T3 Incense, it will stop them in their tracks or, better yet, scare them away.

Additionally, depending on the hunting difficulty or challenge mode you’ve chosen, some hideouts may be locked while others are open, and those options will be random. If you play with multiple people, this number may fluctuate.
