The Japanese-American composer and developer Laura Shigihara has unveiled the trailer for the game’s next game in the Rakuen fantasy universe. The new project is called Mr. Saitou.

Mr. Saitou tells the story of a ordinary worker named Saito, a simple NPC in Rakuen and in the new game, he became the main character. The protagonist wants to find the meaning of life in an old society with constant work and social isolation.
According to the story, from time to time, Saito has fallen into a different fantasy world. A friend suddenly comes and makes his life change.
Shigihara promises a touching story that’s not without humor, a gallery of strange creatures, a charming visual style, an original soundtrack and a short time (the game can be played within a few seconds).
Among the characteristics of Mr. Saitou, it is also called the opportunity to impress your boss, take the train, meet the Sphinx of basic mathematics and explore the educational dungeon.
Release Saitou is expected starting March 23, 2023 on PC and Nintendo Switch. Rakuen will appear on the Nintendo X100. The port was announced in May and was planned to be released before the end of 2022.
Among Shigiharas projects, besides Rakuen and Mr. Saitou, including soundtrack work for To the Moon, Deltarune, and the original Plants vs. Zombies. Shigihara is the man who plays the song Zombies on your Lawn.
